Tinker Crate

April 22, 2017

I am always trying to figure out what to get my kids for a birthday or big holiday. They have enough Legos to build a house! I always find a new book (or two), something clothingand maybe something sport-related........new ice skates or a soccer ball or something for the pool.....but I was tapped out on everything. My family was asking what to get William for his 9th birthday and I felt like I was out of ideas!

Then I remembered Tinker Crate. You can sign up for 3 months, 6 months or a year worth of build-it inspired "toys". My brother kindly signed my son up and he received his first one a few weeks ago!

HUGE success! The instructions were clear and pretty easy to follow. There was only one piece that gave him some trouble (and I had to re-read the instructions a few times to figure out the mistake!), but for the most part, it was a perfect way to spend some time. And he now plays with it and integrated it into his other toys!

So.... although this isn't a book.....I think it fits into what I love ---- creative, mindful and inspiring!

Keep it in the back of your mind for a summer treat or the next birthday gift idea!
