We're supporting William in his latest group ---- the cub scouts!!

We had a 5 mile hike to accomplish --- to the MASH site. It's a famous hike b/c this is where they filmed the TV show. (I was never really a huge fan of MASH; it was one of those shows that was on before Different Strokes or Fantasy Island or Love Boat ---- I had to tolerate it!)

It was an incredibly beautiful day. And we saw three deer --- one on the 405 (alive!) and two on entering the park. Then a big buck sprang through a dry meadow. It was breathtaking!

It's easy to forget how beautiful it is here in California. After our Co. vacation it was nice to be back in nature and enjoy the day.
