EASTER

Happy Easter!

Seems like this is always the official start to Spring.

Unfortunately I fell sick on Friday and Emily followed on Saturday. So, all well laid plans to enjoy our annual Easter Brunch with friends was cancelled around 4:00 am. Sunday morning. booo!

With enough Advil, Emily was able to rally with William and they followed the clues to their Easter baskets. Which the Easter Bunny had given a lot of thought to this year --- including a few fun items and some functional --- like new summer flip flops.

On Friday, Emily had her Spring bonnet parade ----- and it was hilarious! Homemade bonnets were so creative. The kids followed it with their Spring Sing! On Friday I went to bed as soon as Brian got home. Thanks to him, the kids got to participate in the Underwater Easter Egg Hunt at The Plunge!! Very fun!

William Turned 5!

a little late --- well, an entire month late! But I did want to say William turned 5 and as always our family and friends helped bring in a wonderful new age! It's a real reality shake-up to think that an entire 5 years has gone by!! I can picture Brian and I coming home from the hospital and I couldn't get over how big Emily seemed! Introducing her to her new little brother ---- and then pulling myself together to take care of two very small children! It makes their independence today all the sweeter! Happy (belated) Birthday William! And thanks to all who made it so special!

The first of many Happy Birthdays sung. As always Dinosaurs remained a constant theme. I think I'm an expert in Dinosaur and Fairy parties

I love tall candles! I think they look so fun on a cake!

An Irish Morning

It was a fun St. Patricks Day --- especially with Emily's K class doing some Irish dancing!

For three weeks they worked so hard on their 7-step, 1-hop, 3-stomp, 2 clap, step-in, step-out!! My hat is off to those amazing teachers who are never discouraged! The kids were amazing!
